As founder and lead financial advisor of Select Financial Services Group, Pia provides individuals with a range of personalized, comprehensive financial guidance for investment, retirement, and estate planning, as well as other wealth management needs.  She started Select Financial in 1999 to provide a local, independently-owned alternative to large, traditional brokerage firms.

Pia spent a combined 19 years as a branch manager for Michigan National Bank, Great Lakes Bancorp, and TCF Bank.  During that time, she served on various committees for the advancement of professional women in the region.  She also served as president, treasurer, and secretary for more than 10 years on the Washtenaw County Security Association, which was comprised of state, county, and local law enforcement officials.  In 1996, she completed the College for Financial Planning's Professional Education Program, coursework toward the CFP® certification, and began her career as a financial planner.

Pia is a longtime resident of Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She has one son, Justin, and three grandchildren.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yoga, meditation, playing with her grandchildren, and cheering on the University of Michigan football team and the women's volleyball and men's basketball teams.
